What are the different experience levels between your stylists?
Our team includes Salon Directors, Creative Directors, and a Senior Stylist. The Senior Stylist has 6 years of experience, while the Creative Directors and Directors each bring over 15 years of expertise to the salon. This range of experience allows us to offer a high level of skill and creativity across all services.
Do I need to book a consultation?
We recommend all new clients come in for a consultation. Returning clients are advised to book a consultation if they are looking for a colour transformation, major style change, or any service that requires personalised planning. This ensures we achieve the best results for your hair and your needs.
Do I need to book or do you accept walk-ins?
We highly recommend booking your appointment in advance to secure a spot. However, we do accept walk-ins depending on our stylist’s availability.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment. Within the 48-24hr period your deposit may be forfeited. Within 24hrs or if you fail to show up, you will be charged 100% of your total service cost.
Can I book a cut without a blow-dry?
Our stylists do not offer haircuts without a blow-dry, as drying the hair is necessary to ensure evenness and determine how much weight to remove.
Can I book a standalone blow-dry?
Standalone blow-dries are only available to book over the phone, as our availability is limited and our stylists primarily focus on colour services.
Saturday blow-dries are only offered via our cancellation list, so booking in advance or joining the list is the best way to secure a weekend slot.
Do you do kids hair?
We offer haircuts for children aged 10 and over, charged at our standard adult pricing. Colour services are available for clients aged 16 and over, and we require a parent or guardian to be present during the consultation.
Why can’t I book my foils appointment without a toner?
Lightener in foils only lifts the hair’s natural pigment, it doesn’t add any colour on its own. For most clients, this means the hair can look brassy or uneven after lightening. A toner is used to neutralise unwanted tones and achieve the desired shade. Only a very small number of clients naturally lift to their ideal colour without needing a toner, so for most people, it’s an essential step to get the perfect result.
Do you offer any straightening services?
We offer a Keratin Smoothing treatment that can be customised to achieve your desired level of straightness. While it’s not a permanent straightening solution, it helps reduce frizz and creates a sleek, polished look that lasts for weeks.
What type of hair extension services do you offer?
We offer Great Lengths Keratin bonds, Seamless1 Tape extensions and Bellami Weft extensions. All extension clients will need to book a consultation prior to their appointment so that our stylists are able to colour match and quote accordingly.
Is hair colouring safe during pregnancy or for sensitive scalps?
Though we have many pregnant and sensitive scalp clients, we always advise speaking to your medical professional before coming in for any colour. If necessary, during your consultation we can also do a strand or patch test to check for any sensitivity or reactions.
What brand of colour do you use?
We use WELLA for the majority of our colours. However, we do keep a small stock of ammonia-free Inoa colour in Loreal.
Which payment methods do you accept?
We accept Visa/Mastercard, American Express and Afterpay. We also sell fully customisable gift vouchers in-store or online.
What is parking and accessibility like?
We are located on the corner of New South Head Road and Newcastle Street.
There is both timed and all-day parking available around Rose Bay. We recommend leaving with 15 minutes to spare when booking an appointment at peak hour times.
The salon has stroller access, however, please note that our restroom is upstairs.
